Insulfoam Product Donation Used in Haiti Reconstruction Effort August 10, 2010 - Insulfoam’s Lakeland, FL facility recently donated InsulFoam II Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) panels which were used to build a women’s clinic in Pétionville, Haiti, an area devastated by January’s 7.0 magnitude earthquake.
Highway Reconstruction with Geofoam The Insulfoam team attended a partnering workshop ten months before the start of this project and provided a geofoam educational presentation to the engineers and Walsh Construction project managers. Gary Walsh, Walsh Construction project site supervisor, said “Using the geofoam on the project was very easy.” Insulfoam representatives were at the job site on the first day of delivery to ensure the trucks arrived and reviewed the layout and installation techniques with the crew.
